The morning message

Every morning (and afternoon), there is a message on the board for the kids to read. In this last quarter, the message has mistakes in it that the kids have to fix: no periods, not starting with a capital, words spelled wrong, etc. Take a peek at the message for today and what the morning kids thought was wrong with it!

Spirit Week: Sports Day

I have been telling the kids all week that this is the "wear your favorite SAINTS stuff to school day" but many of them didn't listen. We did have quite a few kids with black and gold on though. But of course there are the kids who had to wear their Broncos gear!

Spirit week: Twin Day

This week is spirit week at our school! Today was Twin Day where people got to dress like twins. It was lots of fun!

Chicks

A parent of a student from last year lent us her baby chicks for the day. We had so much fun with them. We got to pet them and hold them and they made cute tweet-tweet sounds all day long. It was a great way to celebrate spring!

Egg Hunt

We had a fantastic time hunting eggs! Thank you to all of the parents who helped hide the eggs. Everyone had a great time and it was so much fun to eat all the treats afterwards. We then read the Velveteen Rabbit which is always a kindergarten favorite!

Congratulations to our 3rd quarter award winners

These are the students who won awards for the 3rd quarter. The timberwolf award is for those who have shown great imporvement over the quarter and the Twin Peaks award is for those who have demonstrated our 6 pillars of character! Great job everyone!

Vichika Guardian Badge

We adopted 2 chimpanzees! I want to thank everyone for sending in and counting pennies. We also have to give a big thank you to Cecilia, her grandma, and the Valmont Post Office in Boulder. They let us collect pennies there and that helped us to reach our goal of $250 to adopt both chimpanzees!
