I'm Back...

I missed seeing you guys today but I was stuck at the border between Mexico and the United States for a very long time and missed my flight (by the way...does anyone know the name of the river that separates Mexico and the USA??) While I was in Mexico I got to do some cool things. I saw a lot of wild animals and I got to ride around the ranch on top of a truck! We were in a desert part of Mexico so you can see animals like deer, bobcats, mountain lions (only if you are lucky), javelinas, rattlesnakes, and coyotes. You can also go fishing on the big lake for bass. The name of the ranch we went to is El Gato which is spanish for "The Cat". At the ranch we keep some deer in pens and we were able to pet them. When my stepbrother David was petting one, it bit his finger hard Ikind of like when we stick out finger in Deuce McAllister's cage!)

El Gato has got to be the most fun place in the whole wide world! I wish I could have gone with you. This trip looked like so much fun! I loved the matching Saints shirts - I would have worn my jersey if I were there with you. Who caught the big fish? I bet that provided for a good fishing report at dinner time.

wow, looks like you guys had so much fun! And now I know why I couldn't get in touch with you - you were stuck at the border! No fun at all!
At least you weren't left there alone with a dead cell phone and forced to walk to the nearest hotel and pay in the cash you luckily had on you because your credit card had been canceled because of potential fraud at the bank. And then not been able to get in touch with anyone because you didn't have enough extra money on you to use the hotel phone and so had everyone wondering where you were and worried about you. (That happened to me one time, in case you were wondering or had forgotten)

I'm so glad you got back. Why was the border so busy?
Great photos! What was that mountain lion doing? I sure am glad he didn't bite David. A deer bite is bad enough. Did it break the skin?
It looks like you can go fishing on the big lake for "big" bass. Was that your catch?
