A feast to remember

We celebrated the first Thanksgiving between the Pilgrims and Native Americans on Friday. We dressed up, ate all sorts of wonderful food, and then had our third grade buddies in to share dessert with us. It was so much fun. We even got to eat on place mats that we wove ourselves. I hope that everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and family!

Yay Thanksgiving!!!! We're making turkey hands in my classes. The students are writing 4 things that they are thankful for in the fingers. :-)
I'm excited to be celebrating thanksgiving with a vegan potluck this Saturday!

You kids are so smart. I love the woven placemats and the feast looks wonderful. Your costumes look quite authentique. And how nice of you to invite the older kids for desert.
